A second, and last, part of the Fashion modelshoot with Naomi.

Ciao and welcome to the final part of this fashion model shoot, taken in the southern area of Milan in collaboration with tailor Marco Aronia, who provided the elegant dress worn by model Naomi Lucino.

For this session, I finally tested a lens I bought some time ago on eBay but had never used—the smc Pentax-A 28mm f/2.8. It’s a lens from the film era, once popular among street photographers, now reimagined here for indoor portraiture.

As is often my choice, the lighting was purely natural—filtered through the window, my absolute favorite.

When working with indoor portraits, having a wide focal length (under 35mm) is essential. Until now, I had relied on the Vivitar 24mm f/2.8 MC, a wide-angle macro that has given me great satisfaction. But it was time to put this new lens to the test.

The results? Promising. The lens delivers a crisp image with a certain micro-contrast—perhaps a bit too much for my style, but potentially appealing to others. It's a bit of a shame that Naomi doesn’t appear in more of these shots, but that’s part of the creative unpredictability of this work.

Not that I stayed loyal to the new lens the entire time! The final photo in this set was taken with my beloved Pentax 135mm f/2.4 (Bayonet mount), a lens that has served me well over the years.

And with that, this model shoot comes to an end.
