Instant Beauty of Beatrice

Hi everyone!

Here I am with the final part of the artistic nude set shot at Showroom Orodi in Limbiate with the beautiful model Beatrice Dileo last April.

Instant Beatrice 1; ph: Francesco Coppola

As you can see, these images were taken with my Lomography LomoInstant Square Glass, using a zone focus system without an exposure meter. Everything - even the framing - was a guessing game, embracing the unpredictable nature of instant photography.

And of course, there's that distinctive FujiFilm instant color palette that makes these shots so special.

To preserve these colors as faithfully as possible, I "scanned" the instant photos using my K1's Pixel Shift feature, achieving maximum color fidelity that a digital camera can provide.

During the editing process, I kept interventions minimal - only adjusting contrast and occasionally exposure levels to maintain the authentic instant film look.

The major work was in the correction phase, removing the considerable amount of dust that had accumulated on the instant photos over time.

And that's a wrap - not only for this instant photography segment, but for the entire shoot with Beatrice!

Hope you enjoyed this series, and we'll see each other very soon!

Stay fresh! Stay creative!

Per aspera ad astra!
