FC Talk - season 2, episode 5 is on line
Ciao everybody!
I am happy to announce that yesterday I managed to produce and put online the June-July episode of my FC Talk podcast. As always, you will find it on the homepage of this website, but also on my Spotify account and on my YouTube channel.
This episode looks back at June's various achievements, between new and better publications and the exhibition of three of my images at the London Photo Show, and how those reputation gains felt sadly insufficient once June turned into July, when a nest of wasps forced me to rush my mother to the nearest hospital's emergency room. That pushed me to take some important decisions for my art business in mid-July, including a costly but important acceleration through an art marketing course.
I also talk about the strange situation we narrowly avoided in the wake of generative AI tools, and about something else entirely: an open call from INPS that treats visual artists no better than spoiled hobbyists, paying them only in likes and fame. Living creatively in Italy is always such a joy.
A new Vertigo installment digs into the specifics of the emotions I lived through in these overheated days: the worries, the little hope my body can still produce, and the spiritual determination to give my artworks every chance to succeed that they deserve, have deserved, and will keep deserving.
Rest well in this smoldering August, find your own island of refreshing relaxation. My channels will be quiet through August: no new content, only some possible experiments, and a lot of study and new paths to trace, for a pyrotechnic Autumn ahead!
Shine on!
