Notes from a practice – Why the female nude body?

Fine art nude photography is too often misunderstood: by the market, by the internet, and by many who practice it. In this essay I explore why a sapiosexual photographer chooses the female body as his primary subject, what the nude can express that other portraiture cannot, and what personal and cultural forces shape the work I make.
