Can we still speak of natural beauty in the age of generative AI? This essay argues yes, not as Romantic fantasy, but as embodied reality. Beauty is operative, dangerous, and real. It lights fires. Using the Sidney Sweeney controversy and lived experience with models, it explores why women pursue beauty despite economic cost, and why human art survives AI's algorithmic standardization through obsessive particularity.
