Second consultancy with my Art Coach — a report

Ciao my dear readers!

Stefania Monopoli, my art coach

Today I want to share with you the outcome of my second consultancy session with my Art Coach, Stefania Monopoli. The first one took place on October 1st, and a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then.

I opened the session by walking her through everything I had been working on in the months between October 2025 and now: the reforming of my website, the launch of my artistic nude history article series published every Wednesday, the choice to show uncensored work on Patreon, a handful of new international publications, and the new shootings I performed across that whole period. It was good to lay it all out — sometimes you don't realize how much ground you have covered until you hear yourself describing it out loud.

Then I asked her the question that was really on my mind: what did she think of my progress, and was I closer — or not — to being ready to open my Saatchi Art profile?

Her response was genuinely encouraging. She told me she felt a real growth in my images, a tangible evolution in the quality and intentionality of my shooting. But what seemed to please her perhaps even more was noticing how I have changed the way I describe my work. In her words, in Art Photography the description of an image is almost more important than the technical quality of the image itself — and she felt that shift in me clearly.
